Physical therapy jobs in Huntington, NY.
Are you a skilled physical therapist passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal physical well-being? We would love to hear from you.
A 5-star practice
We are proud to hold a 5-star rating on both Google and Yelp, built one patient at a time on a real one-on-one treatment model, not a volume clinic.
What it's like to work here.
Universus is family owned and operated by Shaden Ghattas, PT, DPT, COMT. We help impact our communities through physical therapy and holistic wellness, working alongside referral partners and their staff to build careers our team is genuinely proud of.
We are family-owned and operated, and intend to stay that way.
We invest in mindset, skillset, and networking development throughout the year. All of our providers have access to ongoing continuing education training and career development.
All clinicians meet monthly for education classes, including joint mobilizations, neurodynamics, exercise progression and regression, and blood flow restriction, to name a few. Ask other potential employers if they meet regularly to improve their clinical skills.
We are fun. As humans, we spend a lot of time in our places of work, and it would be terrible to have no fun at work. We believe in working hard and doing a good job, but also having fun doing it.
Our goal is to help you build a career you're passionate about, with the tools and support you need to succeed. Whether you're a new grad PT or a customer service superstar, the sky's the limit. Our opportunities for growth aren't limited to PTs either. We have roles available in marketing, administration, human resources, and finance too.
Hear it from the people who work here.
"Hi, my name is Zinnia. I'm a physical therapist here at Universus... My experience here has been excellent. The staff is great, they're welcoming from the front desk to the back end to the PTs. I came in as a new grad, so I was very worried about what things would look like, and the exact opposite happened. Continuing education is huge, and I think I'm a way better therapist than when I started."
"Working at Universus Physical Therapy has offered me the unique opportunity of working one-on-one with patients in a setting that allows me freedom to experiment and grow as an independent practitioner. The smaller, more intimate setting has allowed me to flex my budding skills as a physical therapist and grow in many other ways alongside the company."
"I have been working at Universus for almost two years. There is so much I enjoy about working here, from the facility itself to our location and everything in between. Shaden has created a place that makes you feel at home, whether you are a patient or an employee."
Is Universus right for you?
If you're looking for a cushy gig where you can coast through your workday, Universus is not the place for you. We're a team of high performers who thrive on challenges and are passionate about growing both professionally and personally.
If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, embrace the challenge, and make a real impact, we want to hear from you. We're not interested in just clocking in and clocking out. We're here to make a difference and change lives, and that starts with a team committed to excellence.
