Dr. Steven Browning (PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS)
Steven grew up playing baseball and running cross country in Stamford, CT. He went to The University of Scranton in PA for undergrad and graduate school, where he enjoyed playing frisbee and being a part of several clubs. Following graduation he moved to Scottsdale, AZ for an extra year of training (which turned into 3, because he loved it!).
Steven had the opportunity to marry his love for baseball and PT when he worked in the San Franscisco Giants training room for his final 3 month rotation in graduate school. Following graduate school he participated in a year long Orthopedic Residency in Scottsdale, AZ. He continued to practice in Scottsdale for 2 years after.

Steven specializes in Orthopedics, post operative care, and pain syndromes, and loves to be able to empower patients with education about their condition so they can better understand how to work around, or with, their injury.
Steven loves the sense of community here at Universus Physical Therapy and Wellness and the focuses on making sure patients get better.

Steven enjoys time with his dog, watching cooking shows, trying to recreate what is in the show, and often times wondering how he could improve what he just tried to make 🙂
